GLE Project Goals

Global Tree Planting Initiative

GLE aims to assist governments and large companies in planting hundreds of millions of trees worldwide by 2030 and billions of trees by 2050, with specific targets including 50 billion in the Middle East, significant numbers in Africa, and billions in the United States, Central America, and South America. This initiative will enhance CO2 sequestration, promote biodiversity, and contribute to global reforestation efforts.

Michael Taalibuddin Abdullah

Founder, CEO and Chairman

Michael Taalibuddin Abdullah, Founder and CEO of Global Leaf Energy Corporation (GLE), leverages over 35 years of business experience and 16 years as a product sourcing and development consultant to lead the company. His comprehensive role includes setting GLE’s long-term goals, focusing on sustainable energy solutions and large-scale tree planting initiatives globally.
Michael also founded Global Leaf Solar Energy Corp, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing renewable energy technologies. He excels in building and maintaining key relationships with government entities, corporate partners, and international stakeholders to secure PPP and PPA agreements, driving the expansion of GLE’s projects across the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.
He oversees the development and implementation of innovative practices in biofuel production, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture to enhance both environmental impact and economic viability. With extensive experience in all areas of bio-feedstock development for renewable energy production, Michael has traveled around the world over the last 10 years to review various renewable energy systems. His in-depth knowledge and global perspective inform GLE’s strategies and project implementations.
As a leader, Michael fosters a collaborative culture within a diverse team, aligning all departments with GLE’s objectives. His financial oversight includes managing the company’s budgeting, fundraising, and investment strategies to ensure sustained growth. Additionally, he represents GLE in public forums, advocating for environmental sustainability and renewable energy policies.
Over the past 8 years, he has successfully developed two renewable energy companies in the solar and biofuels sectors, showcasing his expertise and dedication to innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

Hamdan Ahsan, an ACCA and ICAEW (fin) Certified Professional, serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Global Leaf Energy Corporation (GLE). Della Hatch, JD, serves as the Vice President of Legal Affairs at Global Leaf Energy Corporation (GLE). With over 30 years of experience in contract negotiations and administrative roles, Della is a seasoned expert in legal and regulatory matters. She holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, she has earned a CSCMP Supply Chain Management Certification.
